Educational Projects

Dance in Education offers a unique learning method for young people particularly kinaesthetic learners, to enhance expression and communication. With social, cultural, and health benefits it is becoming an increasingly popular way to learn. This is an effective approach for schools to use dance for its many benefits and increase young peoples’ learning in varied curriculum areas other than dance.
The D Project delivers a high quality dance experience that is fun and inspiring. We provide a wide variety of packages for dance in education, including A-level and BTEC Dance delivery (schools and colleges), cross-curricular work, dance workshops in a specific chosen style, topic / themed workshops e.g. European, World War II, Olympics etc.

The D Project work in longterm partnership with St Bedes, West Park, Heighton and Carmel College.
All workshops can be delivered as a one off workshop, throughout a half term, whole term or throughout the full school year. We are also often used for after school clubs and enrichment weeks.
